Getting started with xail.me.
From a fresh account on my.netquirk.com to a first message read and replied to in the xail.me web client, in about five minutes.
1. Create an account on my.netquirk.com
The sign-in and billing surface for every Netquirk service lives on my.netquirk.com/register. Pick the Free or the Paid plan; both plans sign you in to xail.me.
2. Open the mailbox
Once you have a my.netquirk.com account, the /mail page opens the inbox. Sign in with the same account and the web client derives the key it uses to decrypt your stored mail in the browser.
3. Send your first message
From the inbox, choose Compose in the sidebar. Type an address, a subject, and a body; attach a file if you need one. Pick Send and the message leaves the queue, sealed on the server.
4. Receive your first message
Have someone send a message to your xail.me address. The web client fetches the new mail on its next poll and the message lands in the inbox, decrypted in the browser when you open it.
5. Try the search and the folders
Use the search box to find a message by subject or body text in the current folder. Move mail between folders with the keyboard or the row menu; per-folder unread counts update as you read.
6. Set a signature and an away message
The /settings page stores a signature that is appended to every outgoing message and an away auto-reply that fires when you are away.
